What personal information does SWD collect?

Secure Workspaces Distribution (SWD) collects Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as names, phone numbers and email addresses. We are required to collect physical addresses and other PII for sales transactions, delivery of products or services, repairs, or other business transactions. We will only ask you for information necessary to conduct business and will never ask for passwords or usernames to any sites or services.

SWD collects this information through various methods including personal contact, whether by phone, email or other interpersonal correspondence and contact forms via our website, including our Partner Portal and partner company referrals. Anonymous data is collected to measure website interaction and performance; you have the option of opting out of this by ‘Declining’ our Cookie policy.

SWD collects this information so that we may interact with you regarding sales, services, partner related transactions. For example, to let you know we have received your sign-up for partner services, to discuss deal registrations, or vendor related business requirements.

SWD stores this information for as long as it is needed to interact with you regarding sales or vendor transactions. Once you terminate your business or partnership with us, your information will be removed from all servers and systems within our control.

SWD uses industry standard encryption and access control practices to limit access to and safeguard your employee and business information.

 

Does SWD share my information with 3rd parties?

SWD values your business and will never sell your information to third parties. We are, in some cases, required to share your information when it is necessary to conduct sales transactions or interact with software vendors we represent. For example, to register a deal or onboard you to a vendor. We do not use your personal information to conduct marketing research or campaigns, unless expressly noted during a transaction.

 

What are your rights when it comes to your PII?

You may request a copy of your data SWD at any time by reaching out to privacy@swdisty.com. Please provide your contact details, Job Title and details for your HR department so we may vet your request.

Additionally, you may request for your PII or business data to be scrubbed from any/all databases, contact lists, etc. You may opt out of providing your personal information except for transactions in which we would need this information to conduct a sale of goods or services.
